Job Description
The Associate, Procurement Wind supports the wind turbine procurement team by managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, coordinating procurement activities, and assisting with technology assessments to ensure timely delivery of wind turbine equipment for renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support procurement transactions and internal reporting for wind turbine equipment and service agreements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to execute sourcing solutions for renewable energy projects
- Assist in RFx bidding, contracting, and negotiation processes with vendors and OEMs
- Manage documentation and stakeholder review of supply and service agreements
- Facilitate the procure-to-pay process, including vendor qualification, purchase orders, and logistics
- Maintain records of bids and generate technology and cost projections for turbine equipment
- Support technology assessments and communicate opportunities and risks of turbine platforms
- Coordinate RFIs with equipment manufacturers for project teams
- Contribute to project financing processes by providing technical and financial inputs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, supply chain, engineering technical degree, or related field
- At least 3 years of wind industry experience
- Familiarity with commercial negotiations and contracting
- Effective project management, negotiation, contract management, and verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 15%
- Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, and document control

Salary range of $82,000 to $110,000 USD depending on location, skills, and experience
