The Associate, Procurement Wind supports the wind turbine procurement team by managing vendor relationships, assisting with sourcing and contracting activities, and coordinating procurement processes to ensure timely delivery of wind turbine equipment for renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
Support procurement transactions and internal reporting for wind turbine equipment and service agreements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to execute sourcing solutions and manage RFx bidding and contracting efforts.
Negotiate and manage supply and service agreements, including key contract exhibits and stakeholder review.
Facilitate the procure-to-pay process, including vendor qualification, onboarding, purchase orders, and logistics.
Maintain records of bids and generate technology and cost projections for wind turbine equipment.
Support technology assessments and communicate opportunities and risks of turbine platforms.
Coordinate RFIs with equipment manufacturers to assist project and engineering teams.
Assist with project financing by facilitating inputs from OEMs and interdisciplinary teams.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, management, supply chain, engineering technical degree, or related field
At least 3 years of wind industry experience
Familiarity with commercial negotiations and contracting
Effective project management, negotiation, contract management, and verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel up to 15%
Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, and document control
