The Associate, Procurement Wind supports the wind turbine procurement team by managing vendor relationships, assisting with sourcing and contracting activities, and coordinating procurement processes to ensure timely delivery of wind turbine equipment for renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
Support procurement transactions and internal reporting for wind turbine equipment and service agreements
Collaborate with stakeholders to execute sourcing solutions for multi-technology projects
Assist in RFx bidding, contracting, and negotiation efforts with vendors and OEMs
Manage documentation and stakeholder review of supply and service agreements
Facilitate the procure-to-pay process, including vendor qualification, onboarding, and purchase order issuance
Maintain records of bids and generate technology and cost projections for wind turbine equipment
Support technology assessments and communicate risks and opportunities of turbine platforms
Coordinate RFIs with equipment manufacturers for project teams
Contribute to project financing by providing inputs from OEMs and interdisciplinary teams
Provide inputs to cashflow models to support liquidity management
Assist in internal reporting on procurement progress and organizational updates
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, management, supply chain, engineering technical degree, or related field
At least 3 years of wind industry experience
Familiarity with commercial negotiations and contracting
Effective project management, negotiation, contract management, and verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel up to 15%
Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, and document control
