Job Description
The FP&A Analyst at Clearway Energy Group is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting for the company's renewable energy business, working closely with various departments to ensure accurate and timely financial insights and improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate across business functions to collect inputs for forecasts and prepare reports for leadership.
- Analyze financial results post-month closure, identify variances, and determine root causes.
- Work with accounting to reconcile actuals with budgets and improve data integrity.
- Build and maintain links between FP A, Accounting, O M, and Asset Management for accurate reporting.
- Perform variance analysis, review results, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Refine and improve Excel-based tools for liquidity planning and forecasting.
- Support and participate in monthly and quarterly financial forecasts and reporting enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or another quantitative field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an FP A or finance role.
- Proficient with MS Excel, and highly skilled with other MS Office products, including PowerPoint and Word.
- SAP experience required.
- Demonstrate independence in problem-solving, project completion, and ownership to tackle new assignments with little direction and assistance.
- A positive attitude, being highly motivated, and the ability to maintain a culture that is based on teamwork, respect, and integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal skills and an ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, concise manner.
- Detail-oriented, rigorous, curious, and creative.
- An ability to work across departments to achieve objectives.
- Ability to prioritize many competing deadlines.
- Experience building forecasting tools and financial models.

Salary range: $76,000 - $96,000 depending on location and experience
