Job Description
The Accounting Analyst at Clearway will be responsible for preparing the CEG enterprise model and managing monthly cash settlements, while also supporting corporate accounting tasks and financial reporting. This role involves collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders and requires a foundational knowledge of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Clearway CEG enterprise model for monthly distribution to external shareholders.
- Process monthly SAP in-house cash activities, including wires and journal entries.
- Perform miscellaneous accounting functions to support CWEN corporate accounting team.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley internal controls and documentation.
- Assist with preparing client deliverables for external audits.
- Support ad hoc requests from various departments.
- Assist with special projects as requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related field
- 0-2 years of professional work experience in accounting and/or financial reporting
- Accounting knowledge and understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
- Ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets with large data sets
- Knowledge of accounting reporting software, preferably SAP, Hyperion Financial Management, or OneStream
- Advanced Excel skills
- Project management and organization skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
