The Senior Technoeconomic Analyst will develop detailed models and conduct lifecycle and first-principles analyses to support Charm's engineering, financial, and strategic decision-making in the carbon removal market, with a focus on reducing costs and improving system efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed technoeconomic models to support long-term engineering and cost analysis.
Own and conduct life-cycle analysis of Charm Duo's processes.
Perform first-principles modeling to evaluate process efficiencies and cost drivers.
Identify opportunities for system improvements based on modeling insights.
Support the development of long-term cost curves for carbon removal technologies.
Collaborate with Engineering, Research, and Carbon Accounting teams to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements
Experience in developing detailed models, including life-cycle analysis and first-principles modeling, to support technoeconomic assessments.
Ability to own and conduct life-cycle analysis for Charm Duo’s processes.
Proficiency in leveraging insights from modeling to identify opportunities for system improvements.
Experience supporting long-term cost curve development in a technical or financial context.
Strong understanding of engineering, financial, and strategic roadmaps related to carbon removal or similar technologies.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Research, and Carbon Accounting teams.
Reporting directly into the Corporate Finance Strategy Manager and supporting related functions.
Experience in the voluntary carbon removal market or similar nascent, complex markets is preferred (though not explicitly mandatory).
