Job Description
The People Safety Administrator supports the People and Safety functions at a fast-growing climate-focused startup by managing administrative tasks, developing scalable processes, and ensuring smooth daily operations while fostering a strong, values-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the People Safety function by assisting with safety-related processes and initiatives.
- Manage core People Team administration tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Build and maintain scalable, consistent processes related to People and Safety functions.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional partners to ensure effective safety and People operations.
- Identify gaps in processes proactively and implement improvements to prevent issues.
- Help reinforce a strong, values-driven organizational culture focused on safety and collaboration.
Requirements
- Experience supporting the People Safety function at a fast-growing startup or similar environment.
- Ability to manage core People Team administration tasks and Safety support activities.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Curiosity and proactive mindset to identify gaps and improve processes.
- Excellent ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where systems are still being built.
- Ability to bring clarity and structure to evolving processes.
- Strong communication skills to work closely with leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify operational gaps before they become issues.
