Job Description
A Fabricator Assembly Technician responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling pyrolyzer components to support the development and commissioning of new pyrolysis systems, collaborating closely with engineers and operations staff to bring engineering designs to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate pyrolyzer components through welding and metal fabrication.
- Support the assembly and commissioning of new pyrolysis systems.
- Collaborate with design engineers and operations staff to bring engineering designs to life.
- Interpret engineering drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes.
- Work with vendors and third parties to support fabrication and design improvements.
- Use machine tools and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Prioritize and manage multiple fabrication and assembly tasks daily.
Requirements
- Experience with engineering drawing interpretation, metal fabrication, and mechanical assembly.
- Proficiency in welding and machine tool operation, with the ability to confidently use these tools.
- Ability to make engineering designs come to life through welding and fabrication work.
- Excellent communication skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Safety-minded approach to work, prioritizing safety in all tasks.
- Proactive attitude and confidence in handling fabrication tasks.
- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks on a day-to-day basis.
- Experience working with vendors and third parties to support fabrication and assembly activities.
