Job Description
The People Safety Administrator supports the People and Safety functions at a fast-growing climate-focused startup by managing administrative tasks, developing scalable processes, and ensuring smooth daily operations while fostering a strong, values-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the People Safety function by managing core People Team administration tasks.
- Assist in building scalable and consistent safety and people-related processes.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day People and Safety operations through close collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Identify and address gaps in processes proactively to prevent issues.
- Maintain attention to detail and organize information effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Experience supporting the People Safety function at a fast-growing startup or similar environment.
- Ability to manage core People Team administration tasks and Safety support activities.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Curiosity and proactive mindset to identify gaps and improve processes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where systems are still being built.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to work closely with leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Ability to bring clarity and structure to evolving processes.
- Experience or ability to proactively identify gaps in People and Safety operations before they become issues.
