A hands-on Inventory Specialist responsible for managing hardware parts and assemblies to support the development, testing, and deployment of pyrolysis and injection systems, ensuring smooth engineering operations and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage hardware inventory to support engineering development and deployment
Receive, unpack, and organize incoming hardware components
Knit assemblies using bills of material (BOMs) and engineering drawings
Coordinate with design engineering, procurement, and technician teams to ensure timely availability of parts
Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of new equipment
Conduct root cause analysis for system performance issues
Maintain organized inventory records and optimize inventory processes
Requirements
Experience in managing hardware inventory, including receiving, unpacking incoming hardware, and kitting assemblies using bills of material (BOMs) and engineering drawings.
Ability to support fast-moving engineering development cycles and robust design-build-test iteration projects.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure the right parts are in the right place at the right time.
Willingness to get hands dirty and perform physical tasks related to hardware handling and assembly.
Ability to deliver robust mechanical solutions that work in the real world and assist in testing and commissioning new equipment.
Analytical approach to problem solving and root cause analysis when systems are not performing as intended.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate between design engineering, procurement, and engineering technician teams.
