Job Description
A hands-on Inventory Specialist responsible for managing hardware parts and assemblies to support the development, testing, and deployment of pyrolysis and injection systems, ensuring smooth engineering operations and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage hardware inventory to support engineering development and deployment
- Receive, unpack, and organize incoming hardware components
- Knit assemblies using bills of material (BOMs) and engineering drawings
- Coordinate with design engineering, procurement, and technician teams to ensure timely availability of parts
- Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of new equipment
- Conduct root cause analysis for system performance issues
- Maintain organized inventory records and optimize inventory processes
Requirements
- Experience in managing hardware inventory, including receiving, unpacking incoming hardware, and kitting assemblies using bills of material (BOMs) and engineering drawings.
- Ability to support fast-moving engineering development cycles and robust design-build-test iteration projects.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure the right parts are in the right place at the right time.
- Willingness to get hands dirty and perform physical tasks related to hardware handling and assembly.
- Ability to deliver robust mechanical solutions that work in the real world and assist in testing and commissioning new equipment.
- Analytical approach to problem solving and root cause analysis when systems are not performing as intended.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate between design engineering, procurement, and engineering technician teams.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as receiving, unpacking, and assembling hardware components.
