A CDL Class A Tanker Driver responsible for transporting bio-oil to injection sites, supporting site operations, maintenance, and safety procedures to aid in large-scale carbon removal efforts aimed at combating climate change.
Key Responsibilities
Transport bio-oil from rail terminals to injection sites safely.
Load and unload tanker cars and operate site equipment such as pumps, valves, tanks, and automation systems.
Monitor flow, pressure, and temperature during injection and respond to alarms in real time.
Troubleshoot downtime issues and share learnings to improve system reliability.
Perform routine maintenance and coordinate with vendors as needed.
Collect, analyze, and prepare shipment samples.
Identify opportunities for operational improvements and provide feedback to R&D and fabrication teams.
Maintain a safe and clean site following safety procedures.
Operate powered equipment such as forklifts, telehandlers, and personnel baskets for site preparation and execution.
Requirements
Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Have at least 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience.
Comfortable working around heavy machinery, pumps, valves, tanks, or similar equipment.
Experience with mechanical and electrical components, including basic troubleshooting skills.
Physically able to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and work outside in all conditions.
Strong communication skills with a can-do mindset.
Ability to work independently, resourcefully, and solutions-oriented under pressure.
