Job Description
The Senior Manager at Charles River Associates will lead and perform advanced economic, financial, and strategic analyses related to transfer pricing, manage client projects, develop expertise, and contribute to practice growth and thought leadership within a global consulting firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, perform, and direct advanced empirical, theoretical, and strategic analyses for client deliverables
- Develop and share technical expertise to add value to projects and analyses
- Create accurate client deliverables and manage project objectives, expectations, and team delegation
- Contribute to thought leadership through external networking and industry participation
- Proactively initiate and nurture client relationships
- Manage and develop project teams with integrity
- Lead practice development activities such as mentoring, training, and recruiting
- Identify and pursue potential project revenue opportunities
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Trade Policy, Business Economics, or related quantitative discipline, with at least 8 years of relevant work experience; or a Bachelor’s or non-MBA Master’s degree in the disciplines noted above, with at least 10 years of relevant work experience in accounting or financial economic analysis.
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience in consulting, with preference for experience in economic, financial, or business management consulting.
- Solid working knowledge of finance, accounting, and economic methodologies.
- Command of a broad range of research and quantitative analysis skills including strong Excel skills.
- Experience designing, performing, and directing advanced empirical, theoretical, and strategic analyses that contribute to deliverables.
- Ability to develop and actively share differentiated technical expertise or knowledge that adds value to projects and analyses.
- Ability to create error-free client deliverables.
- Experience owning and managing projects, including communicating objectives, expectations, and delegating work to team members.
- Ability to proactively initiate and nurture client relationships.
- Experience managing and developing teams with respect and integrity.
- Ability to assume a leadership role in practice development activities such as mentoring, training, and recruiting.
- Ability to identify and raise potential project revenue opportunities.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated high level of initiative and leadership.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities.
- Excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
- Curious and analytic thinkers who bring creative approaches to non-standard problems.

Salary range of $140,000 - $200,000 with potential bonus incentive compensation
