Job Description
The Senior Associate at CRA's Forensic Services practice is responsible for managing eDiscovery projects involving data collection, processing, analysis, and production for litigation and regulatory investigations, while supporting client strategies and team development in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute projects involving identification, collection, processing, review, and production of data relevant to litigation or regulatory investigations
- Support engagement planning and participate in project team execution and analysis
- Interface with client personnel and implement discovery strategies
- Prepare client communications and reports for project milestones and senior leadership
- Implement data processing projects, including planning processing specifications and search parameters
- Perform data review using Relativity, including technology-assisted review and data analytics
- Prepare and deliver data productions
- Manage quality control measures and documentation to mitigate risk
- Participate in team recruiting, retention, and professional development of junior staff
- Assist in business development activities, including drafting proposals and coordinating with practice areas
Requirements
- 5-8 years conducting eDiscovery activities in large and complex environments.
- Deep and broad technical knowledge of current eDiscovery tools and technologies such as Relativity, Brainspace, Nuix, etc.
- Experience processing electronic data in an industry-standard tool such as Nuix, Relativity, etc., with a strong preference for Nuix.
- Multiple industry-standard certifications are preferred, with a preference for candidates holding Relativity certifications.
- Demonstrated and sound working knowledge of a broad range of current IT platforms, technologies, and operating systems.
- Experience utilizing enterprise forensic collection and examination applications such as EnCase, FTK, Nuix, etc., preferred but not required.
- Strong policy, process, and project management experience, with emphasis on assisting senior consultants with day-to-day management tasks.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence colleagues and implement initiatives across functions.
- Demonstrates integrity, initiative, and commitment in all interactions with colleagues and clients.
