Job Description
The Senior Associate at CRA's Forensic Services practice conducts digital forensic investigations, manages incident response activities, and leads security and privacy investigations for clients, while also supporting team leadership and business development efforts in a cybersecurity and forensic analysis environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform onsite data collection and triage for forensic investigations
- Execute chain of custody documentation and data intake procedures
- Conduct forensic analysis of digital information using specialized tools and techniques
- Investigate data exfiltration artifacts such as USB, cloud storage, and AirDrop usage
- Remediate data by securely removing it from multiple systems and platforms
- Perform mobile device forensic examinations to identify message deletions
- Serve as primary client contact for incident response activities related to cyber incidents
- Lead project teams by overseeing quality assurance and work product delivery
- Manage security and privacy investigations, including breach detection and malware analysis
- Develop and implement processes, evaluate software, and write code to improve incident response capabilities
- Maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies for criminal investigations
- Lead and develop team environments, recruiting and retaining personnel
- Participate in business development through client relationship building, proposals, and presentations
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in digital forensics, cyber intrusion investigation, or incident response analysis.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
- Deep knowledge of Mac OS, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
- Ability to effectively lead teams, prioritize multiple projects, and meet timely deadlines.
- Experience in a hands-on technical role functioning as an incident responder, network forensic analyst, or malware analyst.
- Experience leading data analytics engagements and managing the execution of technology-based best practices.
- Working knowledge of computer hardware components, operating systems, file systems, computer networks, e-mail systems, mobile devices, IT security, or incident response.
- Deep knowledge of networking TCP/IP, design, traffic flow, protocols, sessions, operating systems Windows, Nix, and web technologies.
- Willing and able to travel for client projects.

Salary range of $130,000 - $152,500 with potential bonus incentive compensation
