This role involves managing and executing complex intellectual property valuation and damages analysis projects, providing expert testimony, and delivering strategic insights to clients across various industries, with a focus on economic, financial, and business analysis in disputes, transactions, and compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage assigned projects, supervising team members and ensuring timely delivery
Serve as the primary client contact and assist in presenting conclusions and recommendations
Create and develop client deliverables, including expert reports and analyses
Design complex financial models to analyze economic and financial data
Oversee the creation of analyses and ensure their accuracy and integrity
Summarize key issues from client documents, analyst reports, and third-party data
Provide strategic insights regarding project scope, budget, and staffing
Lead and participate in recruiting, professional development, and practice initiatives
Requirements
Candidates must have 10 years of finance, accounting, or economic work experience with proven project management skills.
Candidates should possess a solid working knowledge of financial and economic concepts.
Candidates must have strong business writing skills.
Candidates should have an advanced degree or professional certification such as CFA or CPA; while beneficial, these are not mandatory.
Candidates with prior consulting or financial services experience are preferred.
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to independently generate client engagements and possess strong business development skills, especially if they have less than 10 years of experience.
Candidates must possess exceptional communication skills, a high level of initiative and responsibility, dedication to quality, a strong work ethic, creativity, and a positive attitude.
Candidates should be able to learn quickly, solve problems, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Candidates must be willing to travel minimally, with an expectation of spending 3 to 4 days per week in the office, including potential travel to other CRA offices or client locations.
