Job Description
The role involves designing residential, commercial, and industrial site projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including tasks such as site layout, grading, utility, stormwater management, and permitting, while collaborating with team members and engaging with clients and regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design residential, commercial, and industrial site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Prepare conceptual site layouts, grading analyses, and site layout plans
- Conduct site analysis reports, utility computations, stormwater management, and earthwork analysis
- Assist in producing final construction drawings and permit applications
- Support project managers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Attend client and public meetings to communicate project details
- Participate in business development activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Minimum of 0 years of professional experience required (implied by the job description, but explicitly, the candidate should have relevant engineering education).
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to interact with a variety of people.
- Ability to respond quickly and accurately under pressure and to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in the English language.
- Availability to work nights and weekends as necessary to complete projects.
- Physical ability to frequently sit and talk or hear, and occasionally stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
