The position involves providing economic and financial consulting services related to transfer pricing, including analysis, modeling, report writing, and client interaction, primarily for high-stakes tax and litigation cases within a leading global consulting firm.
Key Responsibilities
Independently conceptualize and identify issues, designing complex economic and financial models to analyze data
Draft and present client deliverables including expert reports and analysis of third-party financial, market, and industry data
Interact directly with clients, attorneys, industry professionals, and government entities on finance, strategy, and economics issues
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of economic analyses and opinions
Facilitate internal and client meetings with effective communication
Supervise, coach, and delegate work to junior analysts
Assist with practice development activities such as mentoring, training, recruiting, and thought leadership
Requirements
Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Trade Policy, Business Economics, or related quantitative discipline, with at least 5 years of relevant work experience; or a Bachelor's or non-MBA Master's degree in the disciplines noted above, with at least 6 years of relevant work experience in accounting or financial economic analysis, with consulting experience preferred.
Solid working knowledge of finance, accounting, and economic methodologies.
Command of a broad range of research and quantitative analysis skills including strong Excel skills.
