Job Description

The Controller will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of CRA's Financial Administration Department, including accounts payable, payroll, billing, and revenue accounting, ensuring financial accuracy, internal controls, and compliance while leading and mentoring a team to support the company's global growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Payroll Processing, Billings Collections, and Revenue Accounting.
  • Supervise and develop the North American accounting team, managing their career growth and performance.
  • Review journal entries and certify monthly account reconciliations.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies to strengthen compliance.
  • Perform monthly SOX controls and contribute to the month-end close process.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
  • Analyze financial performance data and provide insights to senior management.
  • Interpret and operationalize new technical accounting standards and perform ad hoc technical accounting tasks.

Requirements

  • CPA certification is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management or accounting roles.
  • Must have public accounting experience.
  • Proven work experience as a Controller or similar senior financial management role overseeing revenue, payroll processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
  • Ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
  • Experience reviewing and redesigning operational processes.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience implementing new software solutions is a plus.
  • Experience in professional services industry is preferred but not required.

Salary range of $190,000 - $215,000 with potential for bonus incentive compensation
