Job Description
This role involves managing billing and customer care services in a professional services environment, including preparing invoices, coordinating with project teams, and handling accounts receivable, to support the firm's forensic services practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit accurate client invoices in a timely manner
- Communicate with internal teams and clients regarding billing and collections
- Manage and monitor accounts receivable, collections, and cash flow
- Generate and distribute weekly financial reports to clients and stakeholders
- Coordinate and submit forecasts and budget adjustments in a high-volume environment
- Resolve billing issues and handle ad hoc billing requests
- Ensure compliance of bills with client contracts and obtain necessary approvals
- Review unbilled invoices to ensure timely billing and identify potential issues
- Process external contractor fees and manage project-related financial entries
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or other related field
- 2-3 years of experience with time materials management and fixed price billing, including e-billing, ideally in a professional services environment
- Hands-on experience with MS Office Word, Excel and Oracle or similar billing system
- Ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and deadline driven
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of working independently with limited supervision
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with an interest in continuous process improvement

Salary range of $55,000 - $68,125 with potential bonus incentive compensation
