This role involves managing billing and customer care services in a professional services environment, including preparing invoices, coordinating with project teams, and handling accounts receivable, to support the firm's forensic services practice.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and submit accurate client invoices in a timely manner
Communicate with internal teams and clients regarding billing and collections
Manage and monitor accounts receivable, collections, and cash flow
Generate and distribute weekly financial reports to clients and stakeholders
Coordinate and submit forecasts and budget adjustments in a high-volume environment
Resolve billing issues and handle ad hoc billing requests
Ensure compliance of bills with client contracts and obtain necessary approvals
Review unbilled invoices to ensure timely billing and identify potential issues
Process external contractor fees and manage project-related financial entries
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or other related field
2-3 years of experience with time materials management and fixed price billing, including e-billing, ideally in a professional services environment
Hands-on experience with MS Office Word, Excel and Oracle or similar billing system
Ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented and deadline driven
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Capable of working independently with limited supervision
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with an interest in continuous process improvement
