This role involves managing billing and customer care services in a professional services environment, including preparing invoices, coordinating with project teams, handling collections, and generating financial reports to support client and internal financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and deliver accurate client invoices in a timely manner
Research data, obtain approvals, and make adjustments to invoices as needed
Communicate with internal teams and clients regarding billing and financial inquiries
Generate and distribute weekly financial reports to clients, counsel, and insurance carriers
Coordinate and submit monthly and quarterly forecasts using Oracle system
Manage cash collections and monitor accounts receivable
Process external contractor fees and ensure billing compliance with client contracts
Resolve complex billing issues and handle ad hoc billing requests
Review unbilled invoices to ensure timely billing and identify potential issues
Assist with accounts receivable and collections activities
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or other related field
2-3 years of experience with time materials management and fixed price billing, including e-billing, ideally in a professional services environment
Hands-on experience with MS Office Word, Excel and Oracle or similar billing system
Ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented and deadline driven
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Capable of working independently with limited supervision
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with an interest in continuous process improvement
