Job Description

The Associate Principal at Charles River Associates in Munich is a senior role focused on developing and leading market access, pricing, reimbursement, and commercial strategies for life sciences clients, providing expert advice and managing projects to support product commercialization and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage medium to large-sized projects from start to finish, ensuring high quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.
  • Provide intellectual leadership and advise clients on optimal commercial, pricing, and market access strategies based on global healthcare needs.
  • Oversee and synthesize primary and secondary research to develop robust conclusions and actionable recommendations.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, support proposal development, and contribute to thought leadership activities.
  • Serve as a key contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships through effective communication and delivery.
  • Help recruit, develop, and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.

Requirements

  • Höherer akademischer Abschluss (Doktorgrad, Mastergrad, Diplom oder Bachelor mit gleichwertiger Berufserfahrung)
  • Mindestens 6 Jahre umfassende Erfahrung in der Beratung von Life-Sciences-Unternehmen zu Marken- und kommerziellen Strategiethemen und/oder Expertise in der Entwicklung globaler Preis- und Marktzugangsstrategien
  • Nachgewiesene Management- und Geschäftsentwicklungsfähigkeiten im Bereich Life Sciences
  • Fähigkeit, verschiedene analytische und Forschungstechniken anzuwenden, um Empfehlungen für Kunden zu entwickeln
  • Anerkannte Fähigkeit, Präsentationen zu halten, Workshops zu moderieren und/oder Expertenrat zu wichtigen Branchenthemen zu geben
  • Erfahrung in der Förderung der beruflichen Entwicklung von Mitarbeitern
  • Fähigkeit, neue Geschäftsmöglichkeiten zu identifizieren und deren Umsetzung in Projektarbeit zu unterstützen
  • Ausgezeichnete mündliche und schriftliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Englisch und Deutsch
  • Vertrautheit mit einer Professional-Services-Kultur und Fähigkeit, mit Menschen auf allen Ebenen des Unternehmens zu interagieren
  • Bereitschaft, ein 3-Tage-Büromodell in München zu leben, kombiniert mit erforderlichen Reisen für Kundentermine
