Job Description
This role involves providing economic and financial analysis related to intellectual property issues, managing client projects, preparing expert reports, and offering strategic insights to support disputes, valuations, and business decisions within a consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and supervise assigned projects and team members
- Serve as the primary client contact and assist in presenting conclusions and recommendations
- Create and develop client deliverables, including expert reports and analyses
- Conceptualize issues, design complex financial models, and oversee data analysis
- Summarize key issues from client documents, reports, and third-party data
- Provide strategic insights on project scope, budget, and staffing
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of analyses and opinions
- Lead recruiting, professional development, and practice initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related analytic discipline; an advanced degree is desirable.
- CFA or CPA professional certification is beneficial, but not required.
- 7-10 years of finance, accounting, or economic work experience; prior consulting or financial services experience is preferred.
- Proven project management skills.
- Strong aptitude in business writing.
- Strong teamwork and flexibility.
- Exceptional communication skills with both team members and clients.
- High level of initiative and responsibility.
- Dedication to quality.
- Strong work ethic, creativity, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to learn quickly, solve problems, and prioritize tasks.
