Job Description
The Associate Principal in CRA's Forensic Services practice is responsible for managing eDiscovery projects involving data collection, processing, analysis, and production for complex litigation and investigations, while leading teams, ensuring quality control, and supporting business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, organize, analyze, and deliver data-driven insights using eDiscovery technology.
- Support engagement planning and participate in project execution and analysis.
- Interface with client personnel and implement discovery strategies.
- Prepare client communications and reports for project milestones and senior leadership.
- Implement data processing projects, including planning specifications and search parameters.
- Manage data review within Relativity, including technology-assisted review and analytics.
- Prepare and deliver data productions.
- Manage risk through quality control measures and documentation.
- Participate in team recruiting, retention, and morale management.
- Manage the growth and professional development of junior staff members.
- Assist in business development by drafting proposals and coordinating with practice areas.
Requirements
- 8-11 years conducting eDiscovery activities in large and complex environments
- Deep and broad technical knowledge of current eDiscovery tools and technologies such as Relativity, Brainspace, Nuix, etc.
- Experience with processing data within Relativity and/or Nuix
- Demonstrated expertise in industry-standard platforms with achievement of industry certifications, with multiple Relativity certifications preferred
- Demonstrated and sound working knowledge of a broad range of current IT platforms, technologies, and operating systems
- Experience utilizing enterprise forensic collection and examination applications such as EnCase, FTK, Nuix, etc., preferred but not required
- Ability to effectively lead teams, prioritize multiple projects, and meet timely deadlines
- Strong policy, process, and project management experience, including management of multiple simultaneous workflows and team members
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence colleagues and implement initiatives across functions
- Demonstrates integrity, initiative, and commitment in all interactions with colleagues and clients

Salary range of $140,000 - $170,000 with potential for bonus incentive compensation
