This internship offers hands-on experience in economic and financial consulting, where interns work on live client projects, conduct research, perform analyses, develop models, and contribute to expert reports within a collaborative environment, with potential for full-time employment after graduation.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct economic and industry research to understand case issues
Perform financial and economic analyses or create valuation models to support case theories
Develop and build models, and perform regression analyses using programming languages such as Excel, Stata, R, Python, SQL, or SAS
Review and summarize analyst reports, client documents, and industry trade press
Assist in producing research summaries, expert reports, and presentation of findings
Ensure the reliability and quality of analysis through review and quality control
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree candidates graduating December 2026 or Summer 2027 with an academic focus on quantitative research in Economics, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields.
Completion of an honors thesis, research apprenticeship, or research seminar program is highly desired.
Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to explain, economic, financial, and/or accounting concepts, and quantitative and qualitative analysis methods.
Experience in Excel, Stata, Python, R, SQL, SAS, ArcGIS ArcPy, or Cloud computing platforms such as Databricks Spark, Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS.

Compensation/salary range: $30 - $37.50 per hour
