Job Description
The Finance Tax Intern at Celonis will support international corporate taxation and statutory reporting processes, assisting with compliance, transfer pricing, R&D credits, and leveraging AI and automation tools to optimize tax functions in a fast-paced, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Direct Tax compliance obligations and statutory reporting
- Support Indirect Tax compliance, including VAT and Sales Use Tax filings
- Help assess Withholding Tax obligations
- Assist in preparing and maintaining Transfer Pricing documentation
- Gather and analyze data for benchmarking studies and Transfer Pricing calculations
- Support tax audit readiness and data compilation
- Assist with documentation and reporting for R&D Tax Credits
- Contribute to the development and implementation of AI and automation tools to optimize tax processes
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in the final years of a degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Mandatory fluency in English written and verbal.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for a duration of 6-12 months in Madrid.
