Job Description
The role involves managing global corporate reputation, media relations, and public affairs strategies for Celonis, with a focus on issues management, crisis communication, and engaging with policymakers and media outlets to position the company as a leader in AI and enterprise technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard and manage the company's global brand reputation
- Support public affairs strategy and engage with policymakers, trade organizations, and think tanks
- Lead media engagement during high-stakes or sensitive events to ensure positive coverage
- Monitor media and reputational risks, flag emerging issues, and develop response strategies
- Support crisis communication efforts, including drafting reactive statements and internal updates
- Create messaging around evolving tech regulations, AI governance, and policy matters
- Track relevant legislation, policy shifts, and regulatory developments to inform communication strategies
- Build and nurture relationships with top-tier global media outlets and external stakeholders
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in corporate communications, with a focus on issues management, crisis communications, or public affairs
- Strong global media relationships and fluency with the international news landscape
- Excellent writing, editing, and strategic messaging skills
- Native English speaker (other languages are a bonus)
- Proven experience handling high-pressure, confidential, and complex communications challenges
- Familiarity with public policy, lobbying, or regulatory affairs in a tech-forward or regulated industry
- A self-motivated, passionate, resourceful, and responsible communications professional capable of leading complex, strategic programs
- Experience in fast-paced, regulated, or high-stakes industries such as tech, financial services, or healthcare
- Based in Europe, with the ability to travel for events or meetings as needed
- Familiarity with Process Mining, AI, or enterprise technology is a plus
