Job Description
A software engineer specializing in machine learning responsible for designing and developing AI-driven product features and infrastructure to enhance Celonis's Process Intelligence platform, focusing on scalable, high-quality AI solutions that address customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI/ML product features and customer solutions
- Create scalable and high-quality AI/ML models and approaches
- Implement data collection, evaluation, and infrastructure for AI/ML models
- Build low latency infrastructure to serve AI/ML models and enterprise data
- Understand business needs and translate them into technical AI/ML problems
- Design and implement intelligent techniques for enterprise operational data integration
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science or related fields; Master’s degree and PhD degree are a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Identify with the Celonis value of customer first, passionate about solving real world customer problems with a focus on finding the right solution regardless of the nature of the solution.
- Passionate about developing scalable and efficient AI ML solutions.
- Passionate about building high quality AI ML solutions with clear and repeatable evaluation mechanisms.
- Experience in designing and developing product features and customer solutions based on AI ML approaches.
- Ability to interact closely with solution engineers, customer value architects, execution management consultants, product managers, and software engineers to build scalable and high quality AI ML features and solutions.
- Experience in designing and implementing new foundational technical components that power AI ML products, including areas such as computer vision, natural language processing, data mining, recommendation systems, knowledge bases, and business intelligence.
- Ability to deeply understand the business needs of customers and formulate these into concrete technical problems, often AI related.
- Experience in determining suitable AI ML approaches for specific problems.
- Design and develop scalable and high quality AI ML models or other intelligent approaches.
- Design and implement scalable and robust data collection mechanisms.
- Design and implement principled evaluation mechanisms for AI ML models.
- Design and build robust, low latency infrastructure to serve AI ML models and meet customer demands.
- Design and develop intelligent techniques to understand, represent, and integrate enterprise operational data such as processes.
- Design and build APIs and infrastructure to serve enterprise operational data at scale with low latency.
- Implement methods to ensure the freshness and accuracy of enterprise data across thousands of customers.
Benefits & Perks
Base salary range in New York: $146,000 - $178,000 USD
