Job Description
A Social Media Manager responsible for creating, publishing, and managing engaging social media content, including videos and community interactions, to enhance Celonis' brand presence and support executive communication across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and publish high-quality social media content across various platforms and content types.
- Create platform-native short-form social content, especially videos, and capture/edit photos and videos at events and engagements.
- Monitor social channels for mentions, comments, and relevant conversations; respond professionally and flag insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to support campaigns, content amplification, and ensure social content aligns with business goals.
- Support senior leaders with social content creation and publishing, ensuring authenticity and alignment with company messaging.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management for a brand, either B2B or B2C.
- Exceptional writing skills and instinct for what works on LinkedIn and other social platforms.
- Strong content creation skills including video, photography, and basic editing.
- Experience with social listening and community management.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Create high-quality social copy across content types such as campaign posts, product moments, event content, customer stories, employer brand, culture, and reactive trends.
- Own daily publishing across Celonis social channels, ensuring posts are timely, accurate, and on-brand.
- Create short-form social content, especially video, that is platform-native and designed to earn engagement.
- Capture and edit photos and videos at events, office moments, and executive engagements.
- Monitor social channels for mentions, comments, and relevant conversations across the industry, and respond quickly and professionally with the appropriate tone of voice.
- Flag insights and opportunities based on social listening, including what people are asking, what content is landing, and what needs a response.
- Partner with internal teams such as Brand, PR, Communications, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, and regional stakeholders to support campaign moments with coordination, publishing, and content amplification.
- Support key senior leaders in North America with social content and publishing, helping to turn executive thinking into authentic and sharp posts.
- Align executive social content with company narrative, campaigns, and key moments.
- Demonstrate a track record of consistent delivery of high-quality posts across channels with strong writing and execution.
- Show noticeable improvement in content performance and audience engagement.
- Exhibit stronger community interaction and provide faster, smarter responses in comments and mentions.
- Ensure executives show up more consistently with content that sounds human and credible.
- Collaborate smoothly with stakeholders without creating bottlenecks.
- Possess a minimum of proven experience in social media management for a brand.
- Possess strong content creation skills including video, photography, and basic editing.
- Have experience with social listening and community management.
- Be comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits & Perks
Base salary range: 85,000 - 105,000 USD in New York
