Job Description
A ServiceNow Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and managing scalable platform solutions across various modules, leading complex projects, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize internal processes through automation and integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable features across ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, HRSD, HAM, and Procurement.
- Gather requirements from stakeholders, propose solutions, and integrate cross-functional needs.
- Plan, execute, and manage mid-to-high complexity projects, including dependencies and timelines.
- Evaluate and improve existing ServiceNow solutions, recommending technical enhancements.
- Make architectural decisions to improve platform scalability, performance, and governance.
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues independently.
- Mentor team members and educate peers on best practices and platform functionalities.
- Contribute to roadmap planning and integration with broader business initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow as an Architect, Developer, or Technical Lead.
- Proven track record of delivering complex ServiceNow projects, including integrations with other systems.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
- Experience with at least one CIS certification e.g., ITSM, HRSD, ITOM CMA or CTA is a strong plus.
- Advanced scripting knowledge in JavaScript, Glide, etc., and understanding of core CS concepts such as data structures and algorithms.
- Experience leading multiple workstreams or cross-functional initiatives.
- Deep knowledge of integration methods including REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.
- Skilled in system performance troubleshooting, platform security, ACLs, and SSO.
- Experience with Make.com or other low-code/no-code integration platforms.
- Familiarity with AI/ML features like Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, and Generative AI.
- Follows QA release processes and contributes to ongoing process improvement.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently, often owning entire initiatives or workstreams, while mentoring others and ensuring platform standards and processes are followed.
