Job Description
A Senior Value Engineer Management Consultant in the Public Sector at Celonis is responsible for driving process improvements, demonstrating value to clients, and expanding the adoption of the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform within government organizations, leveraging their expertise in process analysis, consulting, and technology to deliver measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and translate customer strategic priorities into high-impact Celonis use cases
- Build demos and business cases leveraging industry benchmarks to secure new customers
- Conduct Value Assessments and Proof-of-Value Projects to communicate value opportunities to C-Level executives
- Facilitate business value workshops to identify and qualify process improvement opportunities
- Derive and initiate process improvement measures and enterprise-wide change initiatives
- Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level stakeholders
- Manage the end-to-end customer value journey, including adoption, expansion, and renewal of the platform
- Develop strategic expansion roadmaps to embed Celonis Process Intelligence Platform as a transformation tool
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on new use cases and customer insights
Requirements
- 3-7 years of relevant work experience following completion of a Master’s degree.
- Experience in an analytical role with the objective to demonstrate or secure value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and/or respective Software deployment, ideally in a customer-facing role with a Consultancy or Business Software SaaS Provider, or in an Inhouse role such as within a Center of Excellence for Data Mining Analytics Intelligence within an Enterprise.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in German fluent and English.
- Experience in preparing and communicating roadmaps and results to stakeholders.
- Sales acumen, sovereign, and winning appearance.
- Good understanding of Databases and the challenges of fragmented and custom legacy source systems.
- Practical experience in SQL and/or Python.
- Experience in collaborating with IT teams.
- Deep understanding of the challenges to operate within the EU AI Regulations.
- Experience with implementing AI agents such as IBM Watson Orchestrate, Amazon Bedrock, Microsoft Copilot, Salesforce Agentforce, RPA, or BI Tools, or building Dashboards or Apps Action Flows is a plus.
- Experience in identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, being a change agent, and training users and process owners to realize value.
- Experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines.
- Good understanding of processes in the Public Sector Federal or state ministries, agencies, and/or semi-public structures such as statuary health insurers.
- Degree in Industrial Business Engineering, Technology and/or Management, Political Sciences, Informatics, Mathematics, or similar.
- Security certification SÜ2 (Sicherheitsüberprüfung) is a nice-to-have.
