Job Description
The role involves developing and maintaining core release infrastructure to improve software delivery speed, reliability, and developer experience across Celonis engineering teams, with a focus on automation, scalability, and platform ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Accelerate software delivery by improving automation and tooling to reduce Time to Production
- Design and implement developer-facing infrastructure to enhance software quality and reduce friction
- Collaborate with leadership to define the vision and roadmap for the internal developer platform
- Lead initiatives to expand GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and self-service deployment patterns
- Scale feature flag-based deployment strategies for controlled, reliable rollouts
- Enhance observability, incident response, and deployment safety across the software stack
- Own critical systems from concept to rollout in partnership with SRE, Platform Infrastructure, and Product teams
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in backend, DevOps, and or platform engineering roles.
- Experience as a full stack engineer, working end to end.
- Strong programming skills in at least one modern language e.g. Python, Go, Java.
- Solid understanding of modern cloud-native systems especially containers and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring.
- Proven ability to lead projects or own critical systems in production.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
