Job Description
A Senior Quality Engineer responsible for ensuring high-quality desktop application testing and automation for Celonis's Task Mining product, supporting development, and driving automation initiatives to improve product reliability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high quality of the Task Mining desktop application through manual and automated testing.
- Develop, implement, and monitor automated tests to increase test coverage and efficiency.
- Support development teams by integrating quality assurance practices and ensuring proper implementation of features.
- Own testing responsibilities for complex areas, including UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advocate for quality and drive customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5 years of professional experience as a Quality Engineer, with significant hands-on experience in desktop application automation
- Proficiency in C programming language
- Experience delivering robust test automation in Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools
- Deep knowledge of test automation and best QA practices
- Experience in writing and setting up UI Automation tests and end-to-end tests
- Experience in API testing
- Experience with CI/CD processes
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with bug tracking and test repository software
