This role involves building, operating, and maintaining a scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platform based on Kubernetes, with a focus on DevOps practices, automation, and infrastructure as code to support enterprise microservices environments.
Key Responsibilities
Build and operate a highly available Microservices Cloud platform based on Kubernetes
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure software using modern technologies
Establish best practices and develop tools to promote CI/CD and infrastructure platform adoption
Automate operational tasks and manage infrastructure as code
Monitor and manage environments by integrating telemetry and observability tools
Maintain best practices for notifications and response processes
Own various components within a cloud-native landscape
Implement DevOps infrastructure components and practices
Deploy CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
Requirements
Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Minimum of 5 years experience as a software engineer working with relevant platform infrastructure technologies
Experience developing and maintaining Cloud solutions in large Enterprise environments
Experience with at least one of the following cloud providers: AWS, Azure, GCP
Experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production across multiple infrastructures
Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java
Proficiency in nix
Minimum 2 years experience in building highly available, scalable, distributed systems in a microservices based architecture
A solid grasp of development, automation, and monitoring tools and practices, including tools such as Kustomize, Datadog, Terraform, Grafana, Ansible, Bash, GitHub Actions
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines
Working knowledge of Containerization, network protocols, encryption, and security
Familiarity with working in an agile environment
Experience performing in an ambiguous environment
Ownership of various components in a cloud-native landscape and ability to establish best practices and build tools to drive CI/CD and infrastructure platform adoption
Ability to automate operational tasks and infrastructure as code
Ability to monitor and manage environments by integrating telemetry and observability into the platform
Deployment of CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
