Job Description
The Collections Manager at Celonis is responsible for leading global accounts receivable operations, optimizing cash flow, resolving delinquencies, and collaborating across departments to improve collection processes and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the global collections team to optimize cash flow and resolve delinquencies.
- Develop and oversee strategies for contacting past-due customers and negotiating payment arrangements.
- Prepare and manage collection forecasts, scenario planning, and bad debt provisions.
- Provide high-level reporting, analysis, and insights on collection performance to executives.
- Monitor daily accounts receivable activities and ensure proactive collection actions.
- Resolve complex disputes in collaboration with sales, billing, and other stakeholders.
- Investigate historical data to identify trends related to debts and invoices.
- Collaborate with accounting operations to streamline payments, refunds, and process improvements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure global alignment on collection strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a collections or finance leadership role.
- A BA or BS degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Business fluency in English is a must-have.
- Strong skills to manage relationships with internal stakeholders and multinational teams.
- Highly comfortable with numbers and financial modeling.
- Target-driven, proactive, and an independent, entrepreneurial way of working.
