Job Description
The Senior Consultant at Celonis is responsible for leading process mining implementations, analyzing and optimizing business processes using SQL, AI, and Machine Learning, and helping clients in industries like finance and public sector achieve digital transformation and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive the implementation of Celonis technology solutions for customers
- Analyze and optimize business processes such as Finance, Procurement, O2C, R2R, Claims, and Case Handling
- Transform customer data using SQL to create data models for process analysis
- Design and implement analyses and operational applications enriched with AI or Machine Learning algorithms
- Identify process inefficiencies and root causes through data analysis and recommend improvement strategies
- Quantify business and financial impact, and present KPIs and improvement areas to management
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct value workshops to develop business cases and align measures for process improvements
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT consulting, management consulting, process improvement, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL or another programming language such as Python, R, or Matlab.
- Experience in analyzing and optimizing processes such as Finance, Procurement, Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), Claims Management, and Case Handling.
- Ability to transform customer data using SQL to create data models for process analysis.
- Experience designing and implementing analyses and operational applications, including enriching them with AI or Machine Learning algorithms to automate and make processes transparent.
- Experience analyzing data to identify process inefficiencies and root causes, and jointly suggesting approaches to overcome them.
- Ability to quantify business and financial potential, and present relevant KPIs and improvement areas to management.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Experience conducting value workshops to develop business cases and align measures to improve process inefficiencies.
- Ability to set the foundation for long-term customer success and the path-to-value.
- Strong communication skills in German and English, with the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Educational background with a degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
