Job Description
The Senior Applied AI Engineer at Celonis works directly with customers to identify AI opportunities, design and prototype AI solutions using the Process Intelligence platform, and drive adoption to deliver measurable business value through innovative AI applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify high-impact AI opportunities by understanding customer priorities and challenges
- Design scalable AI-powered solutions integrating the Celonis Process Intelligence platform with modern AI technologies
- Prototype AI solutions to demonstrate tangible business value to stakeholders
- Facilitate workshops, hackathons, and innovation sessions to explore AI transformation opportunities with customers
- Partner with customer teams to ensure successful AI solution implementation, adoption, and value realization
- Develop deep domain expertise in industries such as supply chain and finance to scale knowledge across the organization
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in solutions consulting, data AI consulting, technical pre-sales, sales engineering, value engineering, or customer-facing solution-architecture or AI roles.
- Ability to translate complex business challenges into technical solutions and communicate technical concepts to business and executive stakeholders.
- Good understanding of business processes across sectors such as Supply Chain or Finance, with the ability to translate high-level business needs into specific AI use cases.
- Strong presentation skills to both internal and external stakeholders, including executives, through whiteboarding sessions, formal readouts, and demos.
- Experience prototyping solutions with Python and modern AI frameworks.
- Familiarity with Generative AI architectures such as RAG, prompt engineering, or agent-based systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to build deep domain expertise in specific industries or business domains such as supply chain or finance and help scale that knowledge across the organization.
