Job Description
As a Platform Engineer at Celonis, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure across multiple providers, managing Kubernetes clusters and cloud resources, and driving automation and operational excellence to support the company's platform at a large scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Develop tools to manage hundreds of Kubernetes clusters and millions of cloud resources
- Ensure high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency of platform services
- Automate and optimize infrastructure operations using software engineering best practices
- Contribute to infrastructure initiatives influencing architectural direction and operational excellence
- Drive projects in observability, security, and developer experience within the platform
Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Computing, DevOps, or SRE.
- Real-world experience operating highly available services in Kubernetes.
- Experience with at least one of the following cloud providers: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in Python or Go programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Develop tools that enable managing hundreds of Kubernetes clusters and millions of cloud resources.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency of platform offerings.
- Contribute to infrastructure initiatives that influence architectural direction and operational excellence of the engineering organization.
- Drive projects in platform domains such as Observability solutions, Security frameworks, and Developer Experience.
- Experience extending Kubernetes, e.g., writing operators (considered a strong plus).
- Expertise in at least one of the following domains: Observability, Security, or Developer Experience.
