Job Description
The role involves leading customer value journeys in the Financial Services industry by leveraging Celonis' Process Intelligence platform to drive process improvements, automation, and AI-driven solutions, while managing a team and engaging with senior stakeholders to ensure customer success and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end customer value journeys, including landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal of accounts
- Translate customer objectives into high-impact use cases and demonstrate ROI through AI-powered process intelligence and automation
- Facilitate business value workshops and support customers in building strategic expansion roadmaps
- Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives
- Ensure customer success by architecting improvement measures and managing change within the customer base
- Lead and develop a team of Value Engineers to drive customer engagement and success
- Support strategic customer engagements and build long-term partnerships
- Guide customer IT teams through their Process Intelligence journey and demonstrate platform capabilities
- Manage multiple strategic programs and projects, coordinating resources and stakeholders
- Communicate success and risks proactively within the organization
Requirements
- Proven ability to lead by example as a previous people manager, including being on the front line with teams, hands-on in all aspects, and serving as a role model for the organization.
- Demonstrate ability to qualify all Value Engineering (VE) engagements, conduct discovery directly with customers, steer resource allocation efficiently, and champion the value selling methodology with customers.
- Demonstrated business domain expertise within Financial Services, such as Retail Banking, Payments, Insurance Claims, Wealth Management, or Financial Crime Compliance, including experience in major strategic transformation initiatives and the ability to articulate a compelling value roadmap that integrates process mining with AI-driven execution, automation, and core system modernization.
- Deep understanding of the strategic challenges facing the C-Suite in Financial Services, including the drive for digital process efficiency and the pressure to reduce manual touchpoints.
- Strong technical acumen regarding technologies used in Financial Services, such as CRM Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platforms, and cloud-based data architectures, to build an integrated Celonis Process Intelligence Platform roadmap.
- Proven experience guiding customer IT teams throughout their Process Intelligence journey, with hands-on ability to demonstrate the power of the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform and accelerate value realization by leveraging Celonis AI and Orchestration features, including building dashboards, Apps, and Action Flows Automation.
- Experience leading the successful delivery of a portfolio of strategic programs and projects across multiple Financial Services accounts, including comprehensive management of scope, expectations, timelines, budget, and resource allocation across multiple project teams and individual contributors.
- Ability to systematically leverage and coordinate partners from the Celonis Ecosystem to ensure maximum program velocity and value realization.
- Experience in preparing and communicating results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally.
- Experience following the Celonis value selling methodology throughout the customer journey, including discovery, qualification, value assessments, proofs, and demonstrating the full value potential of the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform.
- Proven track record of identifying and prioritizing use cases, implementing improvement measures, and acting as a change agent for the customer.
- Ability to support engagements with strategic customers and senior stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
- Ability to lead and manage a portfolio of strategic programs and projects, including scope, expectations, timelines, budget, and resource management, and to coordinate with partners to ensure maximum value realization.

- The role requires a full-time commitment, with a base salary range of $143,000 to $225,000 USD in New York, with total compensation including bonus, commission, equity, benefits, health, dental, life insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
