Job Description
The Lead Value Engineer at Celonis is responsible for driving data-driven business transformation by identifying, demonstrating, and scaling value from the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform through customer engagement, process improvement, and strategic consulting.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, frame, and translate customer strategic priorities into high-impact use cases using Celonis platform
- Build demos and business cases to demonstrate value and support customer acquisition
- Conduct value assessments and proof-of-value projects, communicating strategic roadmaps to C-Level executives
- Facilitate business value workshops to identify process improvement opportunities
- Derive and initiate process improvement measures and enterprise-wide change initiatives
- Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level stakeholders
- Manage the end-to-end customer value journey, including landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal of the platform
- Develop strategic expansion roadmaps to embed Celonis as a core business transformation tool
- Provide feedback to product teams for platform and application enhancements based on customer use cases
Requirements
- Experience in an analytical role with the objective to demonstrate or secure value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and or respective Software deployment, ideally in a customer-facing role with a Consultancy or Business Software SaaS Provider, or in an Inhouse role e.g. Center of Excellence for Data Mining Analytics Intelligence within an Enterprise.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with experience in preparing and communicating roadmaps and results to stakeholders.
- Sales acumen, sovereign and winning appearance.
- Good knowledge of Business Software SaaS applications such as SAP, experience with implementing AI agents like IBM Watson Orchestrate, Amazon Bedrock, Microsoft Copilot, Salesforce Agentforce, RPA, BI Tools, or building Dashboards or Apps Action Flows.
- Knowledge of Python and/or SQL.
- Experience in collaborating with IT teams.
- Passion for experimenting with technology and creating new models to address new use cases and realize value.
- Experience in identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, being a change agent, and training users and process owners to realize value.
- Experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines.
- Good understanding of the Finance and/or Supply Chain function and/or strategic transformation initiatives such as Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation.
- Advanced industry expertise in Insurance with working experience at a carrier and/or insurance-focused consultancy, with a proven ability to develop a deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities of the C-Suite and build an integrated Celonis Process Intelligence roadmap.
- Degree in Industrial Business Engineering, Technology and or Management, Informatics, Mathematics, or a similar field.
