Job Description
The role involves leading the Financial Services practice at Celonis, driving strategic value delivery, managing client relationships, and overseeing transformation programs within the North American financial industry to optimize operational efficiency and business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Financial Services practice for North America, defining regional value strategies.
- Partner with C-Level executives to map strategic goals to Celonis capabilities and drive operational improvements.
- Oversee the delivery of complex transformation programs across various value chains in financial services.
- Serve as the escalation point and facilitate high-stakes steering committees to present realized value.
- Develop industry-specific best practices, playbooks, and advocate for customer needs in product development.
- Manage and mentor a diverse team, including client value partners and value engineering leaders.
- Allocate resources effectively across the portfolio to meet sales, renewal, and adoption targets.
Requirements
- 12 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a people-management role within Management Consulting, Value Engineering, or Financial Services Operations.
- Deep, granular understanding of the Financial Services value chain including Banking Retail and Institutional Operations, Finance, Risk Compliance, and Payments Insurance Claims Loss Ratios, Underwriting Risk Selection, and Policy Servicing.
- Demonstrated ability to qualify complex engagements and drive commercial strategy, with an understanding of the buying center of a financial institution and how to navigate procurement, IT security, and business stakeholder requirements.
- Understanding of the modern FSI technology stack and how to articulate the value of Process Intelligence within a legacy vs. modernization landscape.
- Proven history of leading large-scale transformation programs that impacted the P&L through operational efficiency or risk mitigation.
- Extensive experience presenting to C-Level executives COO, CIO, CDO, and navigating complex, matrixed organizations.
