Job Description

The Director of Professional Services at Celonis leads the strategy, growth, and delivery of the company's service practice, managing customer portfolios and a team of consultants and project managers to ensure successful platform deployment, value realization, and customer satisfaction in the Process Mining and AI-driven business operations space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy, growth, and delivery of the Professional Services practice at Celonis.
  • Manage a portfolio of customers and oversee a team of Consultants and Project Managers.
  • Own services delivery, sales strategy, and ensure successful deployment of the Celonis Platform.
  • Develop and execute short-term and mid-term strategic plans for the services practice.
  • Maintain accountability for resource forecasting and operational efficiency.
  • Drive development of delivery assets, solutions, and service delivery strategies for new products.
  • Serve as project sponsor, monitor project health, and manage scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Ensure implementation delivers measurable ROI and supports customer adoption and training.
  • Own the scoping, selling, and expansion of services deals, including complex engagements.
  • Build strategic partner relationships to support co-delivery and scaling models.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing, diverse team.
  • Manage team performance and foster an inclusive, growth-oriented culture.

Requirements

  • 7 years of experience in Management Consulting, Professional Services, or SaaS Implementation, with relevant experience working in the SaaS industry.
  • 5 years of leadership experience managing teams, with a track record of recruiting, motivating, developing, and retaining top talent in high performing teams.
  • Experience creating and executing business plans with a 1-2 year horizon and managing a P&L or services forecast.
  • Strong experience leading services sales cycles, including scoping, pricing, and contract negotiation for complex software implementations.
  • Deep understanding of managing professional services teams and software implementation methodologies, preferably in enterprise SaaS or adjacent consulting industries.
  • Ability to understand the Celonis Platform or similar Process Intelligence technologies at a level required to lead and direct technical consultants and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at the Senior Executive level.
