Job Description

The Account Executive - Land is responsible for managing large enterprise retail accounts and driving new logo acquisition by managing the full sales cycle, engaging with senior stakeholders, and developing tailored solutions using Celonis' Process Intelligence platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within enterprise accounts in the Retail sector
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing six-figure deals
  • Build relationships with strategic stakeholders, including C-level executives and operational leaders
  • Develop tailored solutions by understanding customer needs and demonstrating Celonis solutions
  • Present use-case-specific pitches and demos to showcase the value of Celonis solutions
  • Collaborate with partners such as consulting firms and SaaS providers to enhance value propositions
  • Leverage team support from business development, pre-sales, customer success, and marketing teams

Requirements

  • Proven SaaS Sales Experience: A strong track record of success in enterprise SaaS sales, with a focus on securing new business and consistently achieving revenue targets.
  • Expertise in Complex Sales: Experience managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles within large enterprise accounts.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with enterprise business applications such as Analytics, Business Intelligence (BI), or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), with the ability to engage with C-level executives such as CFO, COO, CSCO, and CPO.
  • Business Acumen: A solid understanding of business processes and key performance indicators across functions like Finance and Supply Chain.
  • Vertical Experience: Experience or knowledge selling to Retail industries.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation and storytelling abilities to confidently influence senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Collaborative Mindset: A team-oriented approach, leveraging internal and external resources to achieve shared goals.
