Job Description
The Account Executive - Banking is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of strategic banking clients by building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and closing deals using Celonis's process mining solutions to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of strategic accounts in the banking sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior business leaders, including C-suite executives.
- Represent Celonis solutions related to Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Sustainability, and Opportunity Management.
- Achieve individual revenue targets by closing deals and driving upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Collaborate with partners, including consulting firms and SaaS providers, to drive joint success.
- Lead and coordinate efforts with cross-functional teams such as business development, marketing, sales engineering, and customer success.
Requirements
- Proven success in account growth with demonstrated ability to expand wallet share, increase adoption, and deliver upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing customer bases.
- Track record of building and maintaining trusted, long-term partnerships with senior decision-makers, including C-suite executives.
- Deep understanding of customer pain points and the ability to align Celonis solutions to deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with ease.
- Skilled at working cross-functionally and leveraging internal resources to achieve shared success.
- Experience working with consulting firms and enterprise technology partners to drive joint success.
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-growth environment, bringing a creative and positive approach to challenges.
- Confidently present to and engage with senior stakeholders through compelling storytelling and presentations.
- Own an individual revenue target, closing six-figure deals and driving upsell and cross-sell initiatives.
- Manage a select portfolio of strategic accounts, primarily in the banking sector.
- Build and foster strong relationships with leaders of business including C-suite executives.
- Represent Celonis full suite of solutions, including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Sustainability, and Opportunity Management.
- Lead and coordinate with a virtual team, including business development representatives, marketing managers, partner managers, sales engineers, customer success managers, and professional services teams.
- Demonstrated ability to expand wallet share, increase adoption, and deliver upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing customer bases.
