A Visual Designer at Canonical is responsible for developing and applying brand guidelines and UI design systems to create clear, stylish, and user-friendly digital communication materials and products, with a focus on usability, accessibility, and content-driven design.
Key Responsibilities
Evolve and apply brand guidelines to communications materials, UI design system, and digital graphic design projects
Create clear, stylish presentations that enhance user experience and accessibility
Produce content-driven designs that prioritize usability and web standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain design systems and visual assets
Requirements
Experience as a designer with agency, company, or freelance design experience.
An exceptional academic track record from both high school and university.
An undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about an alternative chosen path.
Confidence to respectfully speak up, exchange feedback, and share ideas without hesitation.
A proven track record of going above-and-beyond expectations to achieve outstanding results.
Leadership and commitment to skills development and mentorship.
