Job Description
A regional marketing manager responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns across EMEA for Canonical's open source software products, focusing on technology-driven solutions such as cloud, security, and IoT to support company growth and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Canonical offerings in the EMEA region
- Translate technical capabilities into compelling value propositions for target industries and personas
- Build and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned with solution-specific goals
- Collaborate with product management, sales, alliances, and marketing teams to align messaging and prioritize use cases
- Define, track, and analyze KPIs for demand generation, awareness, and engagement, and iterate strategies accordingly
- Plan, execute, and coordinate webinars and industry events, including pre- and post-event strategies
- Segment, engage, and nurture audiences around relevant solution themes in collaboration with growth engineering teams
- Support sales enablement by delivering playbooks, messaging guides, competitive briefs, and customer-facing content
Requirements
- Experience in B2B marketing for enterprise IT products, SaaS experience
- Experience working with the EMEA market
- Excellent academic results, with Bachelor’s or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or STEM
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation skills in English
- Hands-on mindset and ability to test various marketing assumptions attributing to scaling the most efficient ways of achieving positive marketing results
- Growth mindset - enthusiasm for challenges and work ethic with a can do attitude
- Objectivity and openness to others views while continuously building a positive team spirit
- Proven ability to prioritise and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
