Job Description
A software engineer role focused on developing and maintaining Kubernetes operators and addons, working with open source technologies like Golang, Python, and Linux, in a remote, collaborative environment to enhance enterprise cloud and AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Write high-quality code to develop new features for Kubernetes operators and addons
- Debug issues and resolve bugs within the software
- Collaborate proactively with a distributed team of engineers
- Engage with open-source communities to contribute and interact
- Work on integrating projects into Kubernetes for seamless deployment
Requirements
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Golang development
- Fluency in Python programming
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM, or a similar field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to write high-quality code to create new features
- Experience debugging issues and interacting with a community of developers
- Ability to collaborate proactively with a distributed team
- Work from home capability with willingness to travel 2 to 4 weeks for internal and external events
