Job Description
The Silicon Alliances Ecosystem Development Manager at Canonical is responsible for building and managing strategic partnerships with semiconductor companies, developing joint product roadmaps, and driving go-to-market strategies to optimize hardware and software integration across cloud and edge computing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Canonical and its solutions to silicon partners
- Develop understanding of silicon partner strategies, technologies, and roadmaps to identify overlaps with Canonical products
- Collaborate with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams to facilitate new business and define joint products and solutions
- Create, track, and execute robust project plans for partnerships and programs
- Develop joint go-to-market strategies and manage market messaging, collateral, and launch plans
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with silicon partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A, B.S, B.E) in science, technology, or engineering.
- Fundamental understanding of the semiconductor industry and ecosystem.
- Experience in software and system architecture is preferred.
- Customer-facing experience in business development, technology strategy, or similar functions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to grasp complex material and synthesize key points.
- Ability to think and work at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Disciplined and self-motivated for a remote-first workplace environment.
