This role involves developing strategic partnerships with semiconductor companies to optimize open source solutions and hardware integration, requiring cross-functional collaboration, technical understanding, and business development skills in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Represent Canonical and its solutions to silicon partners
Develop understanding of silicon partner strategies, technologies, and roadmaps
Identify overlaps between partner strategies and Canonical's products
Collaborate with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams to facilitate new business and define joint solutions
Create, track, and execute robust project plans
Develop joint go-to-market strategies and manage marketing campaigns
Negotiate contracts with silicon partners
Requirements
B.A, B.S, B.E degree in science, technology and or engineering.
Fundamental understanding of the semiconductor industry and ecosystem.
Experience in software and system architecture is preferred.
Customer-facing experience in business development, technology strategy or similar functions.
Excellent communication skills ability to grasp complex material and synthesize key points.
Ability to think and work at both strategic and tactical levels.
Disciplined and self motivated for a remote-first workplace environment.
