This role involves leading and optimizing revenue operations for Canonical's global sales teams, focusing on process improvement, data analysis, sales enablement, and technology management to drive revenue growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver scalable revenue operations across direct, indirect, and online channels
Lead and develop a team of revenue operations analysts to support sales and partners
Drive sales engagement, training enablement, and data enrichment activities
Measure and improve policies and processes across revenue operations
Provide metrics and reporting to monitor and enhance revenue effectiveness
Use data insights to manage territories, channels, and sales productivity
Oversee sales technology, automation, and process improvements
Implement systems for new product launches, pricing, and bundling
Ensure data quality through order processing, training, documentation, and cleansing
Lead commercial review processes for sales and alliance opportunities
Own and manage the sales commission plan and goal-setting processes
Requirements
Experience operating in a leadership Revenue Operations role, driving effectiveness of direct, channel and alliance partnerships
Data-driven and analytical approach with a high attention to detail
Track record of providing insight through robust CRM and other Revenue Operations technology platforms, data, analytics, compensation systems and processes to deliver excellent revenue operations
Comfort with commercial pressure, and the ability to put revenue teams under appropriate performance pressure
Organizational skills and the ability to interact and work with stakeholders within all levels of the organization
Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
Undergraduate degree in a related field, preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Economics, or a compelling narrative about an alternative path
Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills
Ability to travel internationally up to four times a year for company events up to two weeks long
