Job Description
A Sales Development Representative at Canonical is responsible for generating and nurturing leads, engaging with prospective customers, and supporting sales and marketing efforts to promote Ubuntu and open-source solutions across various industries and regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat
- Execute outbound sales marketing campaigns
- Travel to events and conferences to promote products and generate sales opportunities
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other teams to drive results
- Research prospective customers and market trends
- Generate and nurture a pipeline of potential customer opportunities
- Identify prospects and new business opportunities
- Attend meetings with new and existing customers to establish relationships
- Maintain and update lead information on global opportunities
- Contribute to defining team processes and policies
Requirements
